Making an S21 Measurement with the RIGOL RSA

A "Forward Transmission” S-Parameter, known as an S21,  describes how energy passes through a network.  To make the measurement a signal is put into port 1 and measured at port 2.  This is important when characterizing the performance of passive components like attenuators, splitters, and filters.  See how easy it is to make an S21 measurement using the RIGOL Vector Network Analyzer

Making a DTF Measurement with the RIGOL RSA

A "Distance to Faultmeasurement is a frequency domain reflective test used to identify signal path degradation and faults.   It is useful debugging communications system and completing cable test as well as optimize performance and throughput of a network.  See how the RIGOL Vector Network Analyzer lets you quickly complete DTF tests and identify root cause failures.

Making an S11 Measurement with the RIGOL RSA

A "Reflection Coefficient” S-Parameter, known as an S11,  describes how energy is reflected back to a transmiting port.  To make the measurement a signal is put into port 1 and measured at port 1.  This is important when characterizing the performance of active components like amplifiers and debugging signal integrity issues.  See how easy it is to make an S11 measurement using the RIGOL Vector Network Analyzer

Calibrating you RSA for Vector Network Analysis

Making accurate VNA measurements requires precise instrument calibration.  With the RIGOL calibration kits and a customizable UI it is quick and simple to set up your instrument with our kit or via a user defined calibration setup.  See how easy it is to calibrate the RIGOL VNA in order to insure accurate and repeatable results.
